Tap Dance Choreography

We offer tap dance videos, a tap dance dictionary, a tap dance syllabus, choreography, combinations, and music; all created by a tap dancer for tap dancers. The free online tap dance dictionary has videos of over 280 steps broken down by a pro! United Taps also contains an online tap dance video syllabus, which organizes all the steps in the dictionary by level and gives short-hand notation for each step. Tap dancers of any age and level can benefit from these resources, even professional tap dancers that have been doing this for years.

In addition to all the resources available at Unitedtaps.com, we also offer free tap dance lessons at tapdancelessons.com. If you are interested in choreography, we have several routines available for purchase in the Online Store, and of course you're welcome to use any of the material from the free combinations offered on this site to enhance your own choreography.

We have started work on an exciting new project here at United Taps. It will be a complete lesson series for each level of tap dancing. We believe this will be an excellent addition to the free combinations that are already available for beginning, intermediate and advanced level tappers. Additionally, all steps in the video dictionary and syllabus now have their own page with a brief description and helpful hint for executing the step. If for some reason the website is down, all steps are posted at youtube.

The story of this website and its creation is available on the Contact page. You'll find a biography and fun facts about the mastermind behind the website, Rod Howell. A fun note from Rod: "I enjoy creating music, and the music you hear in the free combos and classes has all been written and produced by me, and is available for purchase as a digital download through my Music page."

We hope that tap dancers of every age, level and style enjoy this website. Feel free to give us feedback on the site, including content requests by emailing us. We'd love to hear from you. Thank you for stopping by and happy tapping!

Sincerely,

Rod and Jen Howell
