You’re going to have so much fun with this exciting acapella tap routine. You'll have a great time learning the choreography and you'll get a great workout as you master each section! Because it’s an acapella routine you can always go at your own speed.
NEW: THIS ROUTINE ALSO WORKS WITH MUSIC...
One of our biggest requests is to offer choreography to more traditional tap music. Unfortunately securing multiple licenses to use copyrighted music in a video is just too expensive.
So for this routine we created choreography that works great as an acapella, HOWEVER it has also been specifically designed to work perfectly to “Take the A Train” by the Members of the Duke Ellington Band (It’s song #2 here). There is one edit required in the song which is outlined in detail in the PDF you receive when you purchase the routine (we can even do the edit for you).
Unfortunately we can’t include the music, or even a video of the routine being performed with the music. Nevertheless we’re very excited to be able to offer this new option for tappers who want to tap to more traditional tap music.
All material is taught by professional tap teacher and choreographer Rod Howell. Rod makes learning choreography easy and fun.
What’s on the video?A complete advanced-beginner tap routine (2 min 27 seconds as an acapella, 2 min 50 seconds with music) broken down and demonstrated in detail. The choreography is split into several easy to learn sections. After you learn each section you’ll run through everything you know up to that point. For instance after you learn section 3 you’ll run the dance from the beginning through section 3. This helps you remember all the steps and connect all the sections together. The entire video is 1 hour and 27 minutes long and once you’re finished you’ll know the entire routine!
Is learning the choreography hard? Learning it - No. Executing it - Maybe. The choreography is explained and demonstrated remarkably well so that anyone can pick it up. You’re not just shown a step one time and expected to instantly remember it. We take time to go over the steps more than once and to connect all the sections together.
Is there music? Not exactly. This routine can be done as an acapella (meaning without music/instrumentation) or to the song “Take the A Train” by the Members of the Duke Ellington Band (It’s song #2 here). However the music is not included nor is a video of the routine being performed to music.
Can I perform it to music if I want to? Sure especially since it’s designed to work perfectly with “Take the A Train” by the Members of the Duke Ellington Band (It’s song #2 here).
What if it’s too hard or too easy or I don’t like it? You’ve got several options: you could exchange it for an easier or harder routine (we cover shipping) or just get a refund. We want you to be happy, and frankly an overwhelming number of our customers are!
Should I buy this? We think you’re really going to like it and with our money back guarantee there’s no risk to you. You have nothing to lose and so much fun to gain.
