“ Through your teaching and choreography I've improved greatly and quickly and I'm better now at 55 than I was at 16. My sounds are much more separated and clear. So thank you...”

This is an investment in your health and quality of life - you'll be happier and healthier and have fun doing it!
It's time to look great, feel great and get healthy - let's tap!
I want to give you an insider’s view of what to expect from these lessons.
You will get a challenge and a workout!
We cover a lot of basics with pullbacks such as Irishes, Maxie Fords, and Waltz Clogs. Those steps are going to work your legs big time. Which is good because you’ll get stronger and those steps will improve.
We also cover double pullbacks which are super popular and we take our time so you can really get them down.
Be prepared to get sweaty. You’ll see me sweating in the videos because we’ll be tapping hard. But what better way to exercise than tap dancing?
You’re not just getting stronger and healthier, you’re improving your skills at the same time, not to mention your mind.
Each lesson will start with a warm-up which incorporates steps we’ve learned in previous lessons - that’s one way we keep them fresh in your mind.
Then we’ll move on to a specific step with instructions on how to do it as well as common problems you’re likely to encounter and exactly how to fix them.
When I say exactly I mean it. I don’t give you generalized advice like “really try to lift”. It’s more like “inside your shoes, your toes should be pressing against the bottom of the shoe with a force level of 6 on a scale of 1 to 10”. That’s the kind of concrete information you can easily understand and apply.
For every step you learn we also teach you a combination incorporating that step. Why? Because that’s how you’re going to use the step in the “real world”. We don’t do 20 double pullbacks in a row in a dance or combination. We do one or two and then mix them with other steps - and you need to be able to do that.
Then we do a longer combination combining all the steps we learned in that lesson. So you’ll have ample opportunity to practice connecting different steps together.
Growing up, learning combinations was the thing I was the worst at. I was always the slowest in the class and I hated it. The ONLY thing that helped me was learning more combinations.
Eventually your brain will get good at connecting steps together no matter what order they are in. These lessons will help you with that.
If you ever get stuck on a step or a combination, you can ALWAYS reach out to me. I have helped people over the phone, through email and by video.
I often have multiple strategies for each step, so if one strategy you’re using isn’t working I can give you another one.
When you reach out to me, you’ll hear back. I can usually get back to you within 1 day or less.
In short I’ve got your back so you never have to worry about doing it on your own.
And finally, I want you to have a good time. Sure tap dancing is hard work but it’s enjoyable too.
I want you to have fun with the lessons and really enjoy yourself. I believe you will with these lessons.
Have fun tapping!
