Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 23, 2026

United Taps ("we," "us," or "our") operates unitedtaps.com, allaccess.unitedtaps.com, account.unitedtaps.com, and related sites. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide: When you make a purchase or subscribe to our services, we collect your name, email address, and billing information such as your billing address. We do not directly collect or store your credit card number. That is handled by our payment processors.

Information collected automatically: When you visit our sites, we may automatically collect your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, and referring URL through cookies and analytics tools.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Process your purchases and provide access to content you have bought.
  • Verify your membership access when you visit the members area.
  • Send you purchase confirmations, receipts, and order-related communications.
  • Send emails about new products, content updates, promotions, or other United Taps information. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Improve our website and your experience.
  • Respond to your questions or requests.

When you provide us with personal information to make a purchase or subscribe to a service, you consent to our collecting and using it for those purposes. If we use your information for marketing, we will provide you with the ability to unsubscribe from any email at any time.

If you wish to withdraw your consent or request deletion of your personal information, contact us at rod@unitedtaps.com.

4. Payment Processing

We use third-party payment processors to handle purchases. We do not directly store your credit card information.

Our current payment processors include:

  • Stripe via Managed Payments / Link: Processes All Access Lifetime Membership purchases. Stripe acts as the merchant of record and handles payment, tax calculation, and receipts. Stripe's Privacy Policy
  • Lemon Squeezy: Processes individual product purchases. Lemon Squeezy's Privacy Policy

All payment processors adhere to PCI-DSS standards for the secure handling of credit card information.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may receive or process your personal information:

  • MailerLite: Email marketing platform. We share your email address and buyer type to send relevant content and updates. MailerLite Privacy Policy
  • Google Analytics 4: Website analytics to understand how visitors use our site. Google Privacy Policy
  • Meta Pixel: Advertising measurement to understand and improve ads after optional cookie consent. Meta Privacy Policy
  • Google Apps Script / Google Sheets: Order data is recorded in a private spreadsheet for business record-keeping.
  • Dropbox: Hosts downloadable files for music only. Dropbox Privacy Policy

These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their services. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies to understand how they handle your data.

When you leave our website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies on our sites:

  • Membership verification cookie (ls_member_email): Stores your email address so you do not have to re-verify membership access on each visit. This cookie lasts for one year and is essential for accessing the members area.
  • Cookieless analytics: Umami helps us count basic traffic without using cookies.
  • Optional Google Analytics and Meta Pixel advertising cookies: These tools help us understand site usage and improve ads. They are only loaded after you accept optional cookies.
  • Payment processor cookies: Stripe and Lemon Squeezy may set cookies during checkout.

You can use the Cookie Settings link in the footer to accept or decline optional cookies. If you decline after previously accepting, the site updates your saved choice, clears known optional first-party tracking cookies where possible, and may reload the page so the declined choice applies cleanly. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect your ability to access the members area.

We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, as there is no consistent industry standard for doing so.

7. Data Retention

We retain your purchase records, including email, purchase date, product, buyer type, and order amount, indefinitely for verifying lifetime membership access and for business record-keeping. You can request deletion of your data by contacting us.

If you request data deletion and you have an active membership, deleting purchase records will remove our ability to verify your access.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information. Our sites use SSL encryption. Payment information is handled entirely by PCI-DSS compliant payment processors and is never stored on our servers.

No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose your information if required by law, such as in response to a court order or legal investigation.

If United Taps is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so service can continue.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your personal information.
  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
  • Opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell your information.

California residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have additional rights including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us at the email below.

11. Age Requirement

Our site and services are intended for users who are at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. We encourage you to review this page periodically. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
